Sorry for not reading your message well enough. Since the user is able to launch the installer, what I referred to has no relevance.
If your installation is trying to write to a folder where the user doesn’t have privileges, I can’t see there is much you can do. The best is probably to check for privileges in the setup and inform the user he needs to log on with an account with administrator privileges before proceeding.
