I have gotten this #$%** sort of error especially when the document had some graphics.

Fast save is only active for 15 consecutive saves. The 16th. time you save, a "full save" is done. It is then that this sort of error appears.

I suggest you try to divide your document into pieces, and save them individually (copy and paste a few pages at a time, into a separate document).

Join the pieces with a master document (to maintain page numbering throughout the document).
