I am running a 3-tier VFP/Transaction Server/SQL Server 6.5 application using Windows NT 4.0 on all four tiers. It seems that some queries (and even some pretty simple ones) tap the CPU on the Transaction Server at 100%. It seems that SYS(3050) might help here, but without knowing how to divide the 128 MB RAM, I would have to do trial and error. Is there are source where I can find recommended ratios for SYS(3050)? Or can someone give me an intelligent recommendation?
Thanks,
Bob Byrd
