Hi all. I looking at using Excel (97) to create a structured form. Excel seems ideal for the job once the tabs, scroll bars and menus are out of the way. A worksheet will then act as an area that will be imported by a database.

The problem I have is that when a user selects a cell in Excel, the contents are instantly overwritten.

How do I set a cell to edit mode (if there is one). The formula bar will not be visible.
