Hi
I am parsing powerpoint files, looping through their slide collections, then looping through the shapes collection of the slide. I am looking for pictures on the slide.

In Powerpoint 2000,
FOR lnSlide = 1 TO oPPT.ActivePresentation.Slides.Count
    FOR lnShape = 1 TO oPPT.ActivePresentation.Slides(lnSlide).Shapes.Count
        IF oPPT.ActivePresentation.Slides(lnSlide).Shapes(lnShape).Type = 13
           *-- picture found
           MessageBox("Picture found on slide "+TRANSFORM(lnSlide)+": Shape "+TRANSFORM(lnShape))
        ENDIF
    ENDFOR
ENDFOR
finds pictures, but under PowerPoint XP, the pictures are seen as Placeholder types (14) rather than pictures (13)

Has anyone experienced this, and if so, how have they handled it?

TIA,
Rick
