Hi all,

Our company is FINALLY looking at purchasing and implementing a VFP framework. We have narrowed it down to three possibilities: VFE (my personal favorite), CodeMine, and MM (haven't actually ruled out Visual MaxFrame yet either). I have worked for a couple of years and developed many apps for the government using VFE so I still have an older licensed version of the product myself and can use that to demonstrate its capabilities, however, my version does not take advantage of VFP8's new features. Also, while CodeMine has a 30 day trial version, MM does not. Our company does not have the budget (well actually the inclination) to purchase a copy of each and return it within 30 days for trial purposes. We are familiar with the wiki comparison chart and various articles on the frameworks. All seem to have most of the same features and capabilities so they all appear comparable. The basic difference seems to be the developers interface. Has anyone actually seen or used the frameworks I've mentioned and willing to provide their personal experience with them all? Pros and Cons of each personally? Since a choice of a framework really boils down to personal preference, that is all I am asking. I have experience with one, but to be fair, all must be reconsidered in light of new capabilities during the last 2 years. Anyone in the state using all three by any chance? I'd be willing to drive up or down to see its use in person..

Some requirements are:

Take advantage of new features of VFP8 especially web services and cursor adapter class.
Multi-developer friendly
N-tier capability with ease
Ability to easily switchout the data backend if necessary.
Standard object oriented
Capability to easily code 'behind the scenes' to make modifications to the framework if necessary (this was easily done in VFE by subclassing and referencing objects and behind the framework modifications were easily done)
Ability to incorporate non-framework generated forms (vanilla forms)
Application and form load speed.

TIA to anyone willing to email me with their personal experiences!
