Take a look at DBF Viewer 2000 1.81 File #18558. I don't know how good is it because I haven't use it but it's free to try.

Someone told me that there is a utility called BR4 that will let me manipulate dbase 4 data. When I open it in VFP, VFP wants to convert it, i.e. the dbf and/or the indexes.
