thats what I was trying. Didn't work.

Or you can use SetAll method of the grid

* Grid's Init
>This.SetAll("DynamicBackColor","IIF(diary.live,RGB(192,192,192),RGB(192,220,192))","Column")

BTW, the DynamicBackColor is a property not a method.
