Interesting. I have used ADO data objects as a means of transporting data across application and COM boundaries in a number of apps in VFP 6.0, VFP 7.0 and even in VFP 8.0. While I agree that ADO is not a good tool, and that VFP COM support could be better, I have never encountered any really maor issues and have always been able to get my stuff to work.

Obviously your experience was different.
