VFP creates a bitmap for forms by default. With true color and 1024x768, the bitmap is already 2.5 MB per full sized form (3 bytes per pixel, 768K pixels). You can see the effect if you create 30 forms in a loop and set their width and height to something like 1600x1200. On my machine that consumes about 150 MB of hysical RAM.
