>I have recently upgraded to vfp5. when trying to do a network install (/a) I am unable. We often need to work at different pc's and need to be able to do a WKSTN install (/n minimum files on the workstation). Microsoft told us that we could copy the CD to the Network. Can anyone tell me how I can load a full administrative version to the Server and then perform workstation installs on the network clients as I used to do with 3.0.
After taking note of Craig's response, you could do the following as long as you have VFP5 licenses todo so. Assumption: server has a CD-R drive. On the server, load the CDROM NLM and mount the CD (CD MOUNT volname). As long as you have rights to attach to the server, you can map a drive to the CD and install from there. This works great when you have to work with workstations that have no CD-R drives.
