I have a cash drawer that receives it's 'open' command via the parallel port. While working at the commadn line, I can only get the character sent by exiting VFP. I am running Windows2000 and VFP8. Below is an example of what I am doing.

*DOES NOT WORK:
??? CHR(7)


*DOES WORK:
??? CHR(7)
QUIT


How can I get the data to be sent without exiting, or ejecting the page?
