It would be a very nice to have function to set the definition of variables to a MUST.
VB does this with the "Option Explicit" function on top of your Project.
The solution in VFP7 and 8 to set _vfp.languageoption = 1 for the debugger to get those undefined variables is not consequent enough. Because it only gets those variables in use at that specific moment.
I would not understand why anybody shouldn't declare his variables correctly.
"Scatter memvar" functions for instance can also work as well as before if you use it with "Scatter NAME loScatter additive".
I think this would be a great benefit, because almost all other languages have this function. And I heard it a thousand times from new developers comming from other languages like C++,Delphi,VB and so on. You would get a great benefit to see the possible errors before you get those from your customers.
