I've upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows 2000. My problem is that, while setup wizard works fine, creates Cab files, setup exe etc. When setup is run (to install app) that's fine. However execution of resultant EXE (dbl click from Explorer) brings up a dialog box (DO in title bar) asking for program to run (with file type default of program(*.FXP). If you alter default and "DO" msol.exe you get error "msol.exe is not a Visual Foxpro .exe file.

Now if I use a setup that was created some time ago (under Windows 98) and install the same app on a Windows 2000 machine - no problem... app starts up clean with no DO request.

Both executions of setup wizard use identical wzsetup.ini's and produce same files in apps directory. Both exe's run fine on network server.

Any ideas anybody?

Frank
