Many of the settings for the Debugger are stored in the Registry. You need to issue a CLEAR DEBUG to return them to factory defaults.

Most likely the reason you are seeing the same settings is because the registry settings for these and other VFP options don't get deleted when you uninstall. MS uses the Windows Installer technology to install VFP. This logs changes and can delete the registry settings it adds. Since the registry settings are created after the installation completes (e.g. the first time you run VFP), they aren't deleted during an uninstall. Subsequent re-installations will get the same settings. Very troublesome if the problem is there. ;-(
