>So time and space only matter in this universe? What about other universes? What about possible parallel universes?

Parallel universes, etc., are yet speculation, of course - but it is well known that even within our own Universe, both time and space can get distorted under different conditions (different speeds, gravitational speeds).

So, I would suspect that another universe would have its own time, quite independent of our own.

Another universe might even have more or less dimensions than our own.

It is now commonly believed (string theory) that our Universe eleven dimensions (ten of space, one of time), or perhaps ten. Of the ten spacial dimensions, seven are somehow "compactified", and don't appear on a large scale (several calculations only work out correctly if you assume 10 or 11 dimensions).

Another (hypothetical) universe might have more or less than those 10 spacial dimensions, more or less than the 3 "extended" spacial dimensions, and perhaps even more than 1 time-dimension - whatever that means!
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
