The Mere Mortals .NET Framework
Kevin,
<--We've had a number of developers contribute to Mere Mortals in this way...we promise to put your name in lights <s>!

I'd be glad to. it's important for everyone to realize that the existence of a well-engineered, abstract .net framework engine that will address many productivity issues left over unsolved by Microsoft is very essencial. I have revised many of free and commercial frameworks, but none met my high exepctations. They all were strong in some aspects, but weak in many others. And they were all built for specific tasks, but never for building commercial applications. I myself tried to build one, but then I realized that this is a bigger task than a single developer or a company can take. So, I'm willing to put effort in this job because simply this is the most promising product I've seen!
<-- In the case of the control used in multiple places, you could simply create a control subclass that can be reused throughout the application. Regarding the same field used multiple times on a form, yes, it would be up to the developer to make sure they set security in both places, however I believe the benefit to the end user is worth the extra effort on the part of the developer.

Not my way of doing things. I thought, what happens if I have both Windows and Web copies of the same form? Should I ask the developer or user to take care of that too?
Regards
