The problem I have though is that the SQL statement is on another form. So when I click a button on the search form it populates the list box 1 on another form. Therefore if I put this command in the list box init event I get an error. The process is the user opens up the main form with the list boxes on it. Then they click a button to open up the search form. They enter search criteria and click on the search button. This then populates the list box on the main form. Its at this point I want to copy the contents of the list box to another list box BUT ovviously NOT using the SQL statement.

Any other ideas?
