I've noticed that I now have 2 thumbs.db "files" on my system. The older one is 4K and arrived in June and the latter is 18K and arrived yesterday. Both have attributes HSA.
(Later... a search of C: shows that I have 25 of them and the 2 referenced above do not show in thst list@#!@#)

Looking at the folders I find 99% of them in, and their Properties, they appear to be related to downloads that I have done in the past.

Does anyone know what they really are and if it is safe to delete them.
