Given the other options out there today, I thought it was a basic starter book although granted, it is lacking some information.

I haven't found any book myself yet that comprehensively covers the IDE or that someone didn't feel was lacking in some area. Good luck and please post it if you do locate a good comprehensive book on the .net IDE!
