The current VFP version is actually a mishmash of the dos code and new vfp forms and some original .spr code. The original dos app took over 10 years to reach maturity, so it was not feasible to do it all again from scratch in VFP, plus, until now, we were not dedicated to doing the conversion. We are in the process right now of converting all dos screens to vfp forms and in some cases, it will be done from scratch instead. In other cases, modifying the results following the conversion of the screens will work. After the next release, the dos version will no longer be updated so we will focus entirely on converting it to entirely VFP only. We did not, and will not, convert the entire project so it is really still a stepped process.
