Can anyone verify they can connect to the Northwind.DBC in (_samples) + [\northwind] using the Visual FoxPro ODBC drivers using Visual FoxPro 8? Any of my own DBCs, I have no problem. For what it's worth, I am getting the following error:

Error 1526

Connectivity error: [Microsoft][ODBC Visual FoxPro Driver]File was created in a later version of Visual FoxPro than the current version.

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed

Is there a later version of Visual FoxPro than 8? < g >

It means ODBC Driver, not VFP8 itself.
Your DBCs was created in previous VFP version, isn't it?
My Guess is ODBC drivers doesn't support VFP8 DBCs, you should use OLEBD.
Does it seems like the CursorAdapter issue (remember that?, we should use Stored Procedures or SQLServer-specific features)?.
