The following code has been used in the past successfully, but now is giving some problem. We are using VFP500.DLL and VFP5ENU.DLL as fox runtime sources for EXE.

Offending code line:

USE patch IN 0 ALIAS patchdbf

Error message that comes up:

Alias 'patchdbf' is not found

We have surrounded the offending code line with messagebox calls to verify this is the code generating the error.

One other DBF is open at the time. Its name is neither PATCH nor PATCHDBF.

What would cause such an error message to be displayed?
