This is interesting (or at least I think it is).

I have an update application that we send to clients to update their program and data. In order to keep things simple for endusers we have made this a single exe file. The SDT files (Coremeta/DBCXReg/SDTMeta/SDTUser) are included in the project. The update application copies the files from the exe to the drive and then runs update. This has been working great until today.

Now the copies that are produced no longer update the field additions to the table being updated. If I copy the SDT files from the origin and not allow the application to copy the files the update works properly.

I have examined the CoreMeta file and the missing field is present. Any suggestions on what is happening to the copy contained in the executable?

Ill explore further in the mean time.
