It looks like it was the bbListView.ocx I was using, I downloaded the latest version and it seemed to take care of the problem. I use the control in a bunch of forms. So I finally tried opening and closing some forms that didn't have that control and they worked fine. Only the ones with the control turned out to be causing the problem. Thanks for the input everyone. Still this problem only occurred on Windows XP. Both 2000 and Win98 workstations worked fine.
