Recently I've been getting error 1104, "Error Reading File" on a number of different applications. The events that trigger the error are replace statments, sql commands and rlock() functions. Closing and reopening the data table fixes the error condition temporarily. The error is sporadic, and doesn't happen with any regularity at all, and so cannot be reproduced. I'm using VFP7 with the latest service pack on various windows platforms, ME, 2K, Win98, NT on both windows and Novelle networks. The same application is running on different client sites, and two thirds of these sites are error free, while the other third errors out two or more times a day.

I'm clueless as to what to try to correct the error, or even what causes it. Can someone point me in the right direction please? Thanks!
