go into component services in the administrative tools in the control panel. in there you will find a list of local services on the pc and component services, if you expand the options out until you find the services you want to delete then right click on it and click on delete.

how can i delete a service in win 2k?

for example i want to delete the service 'mysql' but i can't uninstall 'mysql' cause it has been manually removed by the user.

any help appreciated
