Hello Neil, thanks for your reply, yes your understanding of my question is correct, I think I'll have to go another route as my C++ knowledge is very limited, I've tried exporting ( exposing !) class Functions the "FLL" way but the compiler complains that the function name is unknown, however I have managed to do what I need in a normal C dll, I was just being picky trying to do it the "FLL" way, once again thanks for your help
