What this does demonstrate is how unique the C++ compiler is within the .NET environment and the lengths the VC++ team has gone to in implementing their IJW (It Just Works!) technology.

Take pretty much any C++ code (there are some limitations), add the /clr compiler switch and hey presto you have MSIL runnning under the CLR, in an unmanaged fashion.
