Steve;

I am glad to hear that you are feeling better! I missed the conversations we have had. Health is the most important thing we can enjoy and sometimes take for granted. Take care of yourself and keep a positive attitude.

Here is a link to another flamenco guitarist like myself, Chris Carnes, who was from the Long Beach, California area. There are some words from Chris about his thoughts on what to do when you face health issues. I hope these words are of help to you as they have been to me.

Give me a blast via e-mail at my home.

Tom

P.S. "Bring back the San Francisco Seals"! Words from my grandfather after the Giants came here in 1958. I think grandpa was right!

>Dear friends,
>
>You may not have seen me on here for a few months. I had to resign my open-ended contract in mid-Feb. 2003 due to health reasons. I had been there for five years. I had been having health problems since last Sept. 2002 and only was able to work part-time.

>Conditions worsened and I was implanted with a pacemaker in June 2003. About two months ago walking became a chore and now I have somewhat limited mobility. I am starting a new job search in VFP and Crystal Reports.

>I am able to work from morning until night from my own office, but cannot get around much any more. If any of you know of any opportunities out there whether they be FT, PT or contract where I can work from home as perhaps a handicapped employee, let me know. Thanks!

>All the best!
