>As far as my individual usage, I am an MSDN subscriber, have 3 separately registered copies of Visual Foxpro, and run only on fully registered versions of Windows ( 2000 and XP ), so I don't feel that I am violating anyone's intellectual property rights. As to Microsoft's support for platforms other than Windows, casting a ballot for LINUX support is a positive way of expressing that desire in a formalized manner.
It's just that since they shot Will down, it's pretty clear that MS is simply not going to:
a) pay any attention to the voting, and
b) do anything [positive] about it even if they did pay attention.
On the other hand, perhaps Windows users, seeing many votes for linux support of VFP might actually start to wonder what this amazing program is that everybody seems to want.
