Hi,
I found it usually safer NOT to use the VFP version, but to use the Windows equivalent. It can be reached via VB, VB script, WSH and also the WinAPI (SInce at the moment I am not at my desk machine I don't have the declare present). You can use the VB Sendkeys docs, and it will give you more safety and control even if some activeX is included or you have to include NON-VFP apps.
I usually run a automating task, which puts the other tasks into the foreground and inputs the sendkeys. I've automated for instance getting error calls via hostemulation and the relevant error files from Lotus into another VFPapp which gave it it's own interface and made the whole thing "portable" for working offline.
ugly and NOT sellable, but for own use good enough.
