Hi Nadya:

There is an additional benefit to using XCase (which is the modeling tool that I use too) in that the data that drives the model is stored in FoxPro .DBFs. This allowed me to write an ApplicationGenerator program that, at the press of a button, accesses this model data and programmatically creates all of my business objects, rule objects, remote views, interface objects not to mention all of the .VCXs in which they are stored. This saves quite a bit of time and effort during the application development process.

Another nice thing about XCase is that the structure of the model tables are modifiable as well ... and these modifications show up in the interface. This enables me to put in GenScreenX like drivers that instruct the functionality of the Application Generator as it builds the application components for me.

Hope this helps,
