I went down the same path with disastrous results. I frantically ended up moving the entire application to MM, and it was a nightmarish couple of months.

I did it differently, though, than what I think you are proposing, in that I started trying to incorporate MM stuff into an existing non-MM app. I do think it would work better if you simply moved your existing forms into an MM app. Start with the MM app, and call your forms. Do not do it the other way around (trying to incorporate MM into your existing app). I've heard of folks being successful at it - I would never try it again myself.

Whatever route you try, my first recommendation would be to identify the risks by prototyping. Move a couple of forms into an MM application, test test test, and then try some more. I do have one or two non-MM forms still in my app which pretty much function well.

Also, if you're new to MM, give yourself lots and lots of time. Don't think for a minute that it will be a quick process. MM works great once you've got it set up, but that first time can really be a nightmare.
