I have done the following only for two separate detail bands. Adapting it to 10 detail bands will probably be much work, but it can be done:
In the detail band, put one row of fields for "subreport 1", one row of fields for "subreport 2", etc.
In each field, use conditional printing.
Of course, this workaround is required because VFP doesn't explicitly support the "subreport" or "report section" option.
You have some other options too:
Use a different reporting tool. Many users here use Crystal Reports, but I don't use it, and I don't know whether it has this particular capability.
Generate HTML output. This is actually fairly easy, once you understand the basics.
Use Automation, and produce the report in Word or in Excel.
