You need to actually identify where the problem lies... you really have not provided enough information for anyone to make a call like this.

What is the infrastructure of the network? What is different between yours and theirs?

What about the client workstations - how are they configured? Ram, Hd, Processor, etc?

Is there Anti-virus software on the server? This can cause problems.

What is the make-up of the server?

If you can get some of this information and post it here, we might be able to help.
