Hi, Steven.

>I already have COM servers that take requests and return XML to the presentation layer, which are also VFP screens. Now, I would like to do the same over the web, i.e. I have a thick client that sends messages to the web server. The web server redirects it to WebConnection, who calls my COM objects to do the work. The COM objects return XML, which Web Connection passes back to the thick client over the Web.

I always found that the best way to start using WC is looking at its samples. Once you installed the product, run the Demo Server and go to the Demo page. There are lots of examples and you can see them running and access the code behind right from the pages, toghether with good explanations right there.

Once you really start doing your own, you can post specific questions here or at the West-wind board, and you'll get fast responses. But to start, the demos are excellent!

Hope this helps,
