I need to add the code page and new fields on tables of an old FoxPro Dos 2.6 system. The system is in production and will remained in DOS until we complete our development.

However I like to add the code page new fields to the table now so I can make the transfer simpler.

Can I add the code page to the table and the new field with VFP using the Alter table command on the DOS Table?
