Mark;

You have a timely point! As I drive to work as of the last week, there is a radio advertisement about how to make 10.15% per year on an investment. They then explain (quickly) that "you may loose all your principle", that there is "no protection on your investment" and "you may make up to 10.15%".

The choice of words is interesting. On the radio you cannot use 4 point type and flash it for 1 microsecond as you can on television, but trying to understand anything while commuting to work while driving a car can be a difficult if not impossible event. :)

By the way I am sure that Bush will be reelected President. Unemployment will rise and the media will announce, “things have never been so good”!

>its funny how very few had the guts to stand up and say that we were in the middle of a recession for fear of being called a doomsday predictor, but once the 'slow down' was over it is hailed by all that the recession is over. i presume that all the rich folk want us to reinvest our lost thousands on the next get rich quick stock so they can take there cut.

>According to the experts the recession began March 2001 and ended November 2001, the shortest recession in history?

>Now as for all those folks who are out of work, that is their fault! If a person really wants to work they will find a job. Real Americans work so thy can pay taxes and support local, state and federal government spending.
