Just a SWAG, maybe it's video driver?

>I have an application that is running on many computers over a variety of operating systems. I have one specific computer that is running Win 98 Second Edition. On that one computer when the application is opened there are a series of fields on the first screen where the data fields show empty. All other fields in the screens work fine. As near as I can tell, all the fields have similar attributes other than the control source.
