Actually that bit about overwriting is not true. That's what the help seems to say, but the fact is, the new file is actually inserted as you would expect.

>You can use the standard Microsoft Sound Recorder that comes with Windows (sndrec32.exe). It allows you to insert one file into another. The inserted file overwrites at the point it's inserted, but if you insert a file at the end of another file, you will have a concatenated file.
