hi
i have the situation where i have many dbfs in a directory that is part of an advantage database server. my problem is that i can't open one particular table using vfp.
when i do a 'file("filename")' i get a .t. when i do a 'use filename' i get the error that it doesn't exist. it's clearly there in windows explorer along with its cdx and fpt. i can open it ok using the advantage data architect utility.
why doesn't vfp (8 and 7) allow me to open it (or select * from it)??
