I have a MTDLL that implements the sourcesafe events. When a file becomes available for check out I wanted to send an e-mail. I have an e-mail program based on the winsock control that uses SMTP. If I create the winsock object from VFP it connects to the server and sends the e-mail. The problem is that when I try the same thing from the MTDLL winsock stays at the state of "6" && Connecting. It doesn't seem to timeout, I waited 5 mins, nor does it connect to the server. Anyone know what I can change or configure?
