Bill,

If you made changes to the include file only than VFP wouldn't recompile the form because those changes are outside the form and VFP wouldn't see them. Opening and closing form w/o any changes wouldn't cause forms recompilation either. However if you save it (Save menu/toolbar, CTRL+W) it'll be recompiled.
