This sure is frustrating! Yes, I changed my Internet settings to accept all cookies, and still have the same problem.

I turned on the debugger as suggested, and yes, dsOrders does seem to be populated at the top of the Update button's Click event. Further on in the code it is able to call dsOrders.SaveDataSet method. It is in that method that the error occurs.

The debugger says that "DataAdapter" has a value of "nothing" when SaveDataSet method runs. Thus, the error.

On the Page_Load event, the GetDataSet method seems to fill DataAdapter, but then it gets lost by the time the Update button's click event fires.
