I think maybe you have no replies yet because no one is quite sure what your problem is. Perhaps you could describe it more exactly? For example,

Is it a runtime issue, where you distributed many EXEs that have a serious bug, to many locations, and now you are trying to distribute new versions with a bug fix?

Or is it a design/developer issue of some kind?
