Really? I hadn't noticed it. < shrug >

I've been working with ADO record sets do much lately that SEEK just isn't an option. And even when I've been working with pure Fox data, I frequently use LOCATE. Just as fast (or close enough) as long as you match an existing index tag, and you don't even have to worry about selecting the tag yourself. However, if you DON'T MATCH any tag, it's slower than molasses, unless your table is really small.
