Pardon my jumping here, but I just created a combo with 5.377 million items in the drop down list. Took a couple of minutes on a simpple form using VFP 6 SP5 on Win2K with 512 MB of RAM. Once created, the combo worked fine--a little bit of grinding up to that point. :)
