I wouldn't worry about it. A datasession is really used for tracking purposes. VFP internally assigns an identifier to each table/view that is opened. The identifier is the datasession. Creating a new datasession involves generating a new identifier and tracking the various settings in it. Overall, it's not a big resource problem.
