I am having a recurring problem with an address book application overwritting data in a field so that multiple records have the same name. It is not creating duplicate records, but the value of one field is overwritting the values of another record. When you list the records, you can see 4 or 5 records where the name field is all the same, but the original values in the other fields remain.

It doesn't occur all the time and person doing the data entry is reporting this at runtime (VFP 6 SP3). I have not been able to reproduce it in my development environment.

Has anyone seen this before. Are there any general factors that can help me with this, such as buffering or file locking, etc.
